Play Incomplete Downloaded Videos in IDM

Many a times, while downloading video from IDM, some of video remains incomplete and don't allow to resume.
If it stops at 99% or 98% it is very irritating for us. We again download it from very beginning, which is time consuming and also entire data is again downloaded.

Because you can search those incomplete files in your system and even play them(if they more than 90% downloaded).

Run

Step I : Open Appdata

->Click 'Start'
(win XP user) -> click 'Run'
(Win 7 user) in search box -> type 'Run' -> open
->Type ' %appdata% '

  

Step II : Browse Folder where file is

   
Go to 'IDM' -> 'DwnlData' -> User ->
Now, you have to apply your brain.

Here each folder is for each downloaded files(generally) whether complete(less in size) or incomplete(large in size).

Look for the folder which is large in size, Open it.
Here is screenshot of one such folder, the 'User name' is blackened for anonymity.

 Since, IDM breaks files into multiple files, so it shows multiple files.
If it is single file(some website doesn't allow multiple download) then here you will find one larger file.

Step III : check and Play the files  

Leave the Log file, Drag and drop each large files in multi-format supported Player like- 'VLC player' or 'Media Player Classic'.


Hurray!! Now your incomplete downloads are accessible to you!!

Now  if  you  want  you  can also  delete  these  files if  you do not  want  these  as  these will be  consuming   lot  of  extra  space of your hard disk .

1.    First of all download and install the Duplicate File Finder from here.

   
2.    Now launch the software in your operating system.

     3.   Now there you will see three dotted button just click on it.

     4.   There select the folder that you want to check for duplicates files in your pc.

     5.  Now at right side there will be add button click on it and select the path to scan that file over the directory and click on Ok.

     6.    Now it will start scanning files that you have selected and also there will bemessage box appeared there along.

      7.    Now if it finds any duplicate file then it will display the path in message box. Open that files and delete it to save memory.

     4.    Now browse the file/folder/program, you want to delete or unlock or terminate the process.

     5.    Now click on Execute as in below image in red border.

 6.    Done! Your File/Folder/Program successfully deletes or unlock.

How to download Windows 10 with IDM from Microsoft’s Website

With a simple trick, you can download official Windows 10 ISOs from within Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 without using the Media Creation Tool. Till now Microsoft lets you download the Windows 10 ISO by running the Media Creation tool only, this tool is now famous for showing   something happened error in the middle.( I tried  media creation tool method  5 to 6 times  for  one  of  my friend  but   download  was  always  failed.)

So MCT is not reliable and there is no guarantee that your upgrade process to go smoothly. If you’ve a limited bandwidth, then downloading the ISO can be a real pain without download manager like IDM and we shouldn’t forget Microsoft hasn’t published direct download links for the Windows 10 ISO officially.

Requirements:

1. Mozilla Firefox Browser
2. User Agent Overrider Add-on/Extension
3. Internet Download Manager, DAP, jDownloader

#1 Open Mozilla FireFox browser and visit to this link, for downloading User Agent Overrider Add-ons, for downloading User Agent Overrider Add-onsand install it.

#2 Now click on the shortcut icon on User Agent Oversrider Add-ons like below and choose “Android/Chrome 34” or “Android/FireFox 29” or “Linux/FireFox 29” from the list.

#3 Now go to the download link of Windows 10 ISO file (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO) and choose the Windows version /Software edition (Windows 10).

#4 Now, select language (English International or your favourite language).

#5 Now you will see the direct download link of Windows 10 32 bit and Windows 10 64 bit. Click on your favourite version to download.

#6 Now will start downloading with IDM. Enjoy!
